Emotional Intelligence: WHAT - WHY - HOW

Questline were approached by the HFMA to provide an internal emotional intelligence development training to a group of leaders and managers in the NHS. This was due to a recent survey which had shown emotional intelligence as a rising topic of interest within the NHS.

Approach

Following consultation to understand key requirements, we proposed a 3-hour workshop to address the needs of the organisation.

Our aim was to ensure staff who completed the workshop left with clarity on emotional intelligence, an understanding of its importance in the workplace and some key tools and techniques that they could put in place straight away to develop this essential skill and therefore make more impact as leaders.

Results

100 % of participants rated the workshop as excellent or good and would recommend it to a colleague.

 

100 % of participants agreed that they felt motivated to implement the learning and that the actions they will take following the workshop will have a positive impact on their organisation.
