On June 18th, 12 dedicated runners took on the Cheltenham Challenge running the 5km, 10km and Half Marathon around the racecourse and up Aggs Hill. Challenging enough under normal circumstances but with the added challenge of running on the hottest day of the year with temperatures reaching 32 degrees! Everyone crossed the finish line with a smile and managed to fundraise an amazing £3,000 (excluding Gift Aid) for CCP, taking our total after 2 events to £3,600!  Wow, after only 2 of our 10 events, we are very near our £4000 target! But there are many more events to come and we can't wait to see how far this will take us.  If you want to take part in any of the upcoming events, please do get in touch!

Our thanks go to the dedicated runners: Marcos, Helen, Caroline, Simon B, Simon C, Tom, Leanne, Steph, Suzanne, Lisa and CCP's very own CEO Cordell!

Let's not forget our mini runners: Henry, Matilda and Leo (aged between 6 and 9) who tackled 5 kms and raised £400 between them, and the very patient Christian who accompanied them on their run!

And finally Jane Rackham from the Rackham Effect who looked after us on the day and donated her time to give our runners some very needed massages after the race!
